George,
I don't participate or log into any other internet forum other than Rennlist, let alone pay money for the privilege! (I do check out the parts for sale on Pelican every couple of weeks) But the reason I check in several times a day is for the informative and interesting posts of Rennlisters like you. Thanks for adding value to this place. I look forward to your windscreen thread as this is in my future.

Great job George! Great skills to do this. X79 option..brings me memories when I saw my VIN option list showing that precious code.

Where can we see more photos of your car?

Geo…..

i didn't know you already done what I was thinking since ages!!

The X79,such an amazing taste.

I always pretend to think" I bought a 4S for its beautiful CLEAN shape",but than I stop fooling myself and cannot stop thinking at this AWESOME mod.

Do you have any paper info about it,like a technical bulletin or something?

I was even wondering what's its purpose,I always believed it was for intercooler, but now a guy in Italy that has it,says its to cool the brake.

Any help?

As they are from the factory, they have no purpose. They are non-functional. Brake cooling ducts could conceivably be made for them though.

They made/make them for narrow body cars?? I had no idea. Did Porsche produce any narrow body cars with these inlets that you know of? Tx JP
