I think the silvers and blacks are the most desirable - that's why the majority (or at least a large minority) were spec'd this way when they were new.

And the silly comments above about "received the fastest motors" is incorrect. We all remember the "Kills Bugs Fast" ad campaign, right? If Porsche used a white car they would have been legally responsible to have only said "Kills Bugs" or "Kills Bugs Pretty Fast" and they were concerned about backlash from PETA. This is a true story. Correct. This was due to the fact that they put all of the out of spec parts in a pile and saved them for the arena red cars. Only the best tech's were able to get it to all fit and still work.
Black, silver and White are nice and "safe" colours. However IMHO I think the curves of a 993 look even more attractive in some rarer colours like riviera blue, midnight blue or AG
