Mike, thanks again for hosting and all the work you put in to making this happen. It was a blast esp. with the power washer and boy am I glad I went first. Great meeting everyone and shooting the BS around our cars.

And yes, as the pictures prove, it is now possible to eat off of our bottoms

Here are some pictures posted on my Facebook page from yesterday's event!

The weather was a 180 difference from last year's drizzly event. Thanks Mike for hosting yet another BBQ gathering of fine 993 and future 993 owners from BC and Washington State.

Great event Mike, appreciate all the time and work you put into making it happen!

Awesome group out and like Harlan mentioned, weather was just perfect this year.

Thanks for the kind words, guys. Being a bit of a Porsche neophyte, if somebody wanted to help me identify models for the photos in that Flickr set I would be deeply appreciative.

Mike: Hope you the leather tablecloth arrived in time for your party. Wish I could have had my car on the lift with hot water pressure.

Thanks Mike, lots of fun and I'm sure the Targa herself feels just a little pampered . The hospitality and good natured BS is unmatched by any other event. I ended up on Sunday at the Queen Alexandra hospital car show in Victoria. WOW....Rudi of Rudi & Co. brought some pretty special iron. Paling everything however was a Ferrari GTO....the sixties version. I was in Maranello last year at the museum and Ferrari doesn't even have one. Until another event...Cheers

I gather that's Mike J. in the green/green (setting the lift arms)?

Looks like a fun event.

Yup, look for the ugliest/messiest guy through the day and its me. I seem to be the one who takes the most hits for grime - likely because I am in it with each car.. :-)

Default Rock Bottom No More

Hey Mike,

Thanks a lot for hosting the event, I had fun meeting some other Porsche-o-philes and cleaning the rocks out from under!

I have some photos but lost the camera temporarily. Will post when I find it.

Cheers!

Oh, we also seem to have a few "leftovers"

- Someone left an old pair of loafers by the bathroom sink - it looks like someone changed and left the shoes
- Someone left a brown pair of reading glasses, looks like the off-the shelf variety, power +1.50
- Someone left one gallon of Simple Green untouched (Stealth 993 - ask him if he wants it back)
- Someone left a blue plastic water bottle

cheers,

Mike
