Default 19X10.5 ET 57MM On Narrow Body 993???

As the title states above. What tire setup would you recommend for this setup. Would a 295 fit or rub on a lowered car? If so what size tire would you recommend.

Also what about with rolled fenders?

There is not a lot of room there - and it depends on the wheel offset and profile of the tire itself. I would say its too wide.

the rim will barely work, but you may have oil line issues on the right side (and rolled fenders will be needed). 65mm offset would be better to avoid rubbing the outside fender. Also depends on how much camber you run on the back. 295 is actually not the better tire size to run on the 993. 285 would work better. As example the Hoosier R6s when I ran them were the same actual measured width in the 285/295, but the 295 was taller. Originally there were issues with the 285 cording since it was intended for front tire use on GT racing cars like the vette and viper. That was cleared up awhile ago.

I've run 285s on that size.

These 10.5 x 19 ET 57 actually sit further from the oil lines than the original 10 x 18 ET 65 by about 2mm, so that shouldn't be an issue.

I can't vouch for the outside clearance though but it could work. Trial and error.

lets start w/ a known good fit 10ET65, these wheels barely fit at very low ride heights, there is very little room on either side of the wheel

ignoring tires, a 10.5ET57 w/ the same flange width as a Speedline(.5"/side) sits 14.35mm closer to the lips and sits 1.65mm further from the inner chassis

I'd say it's not gonna be a pretty fit.

anecdotally I used 10ET56 at RoW M030 height they are fine, at Cup car height the drivers side 265/35 x18 will kiss rolled lips on bumps

Correct, but a 295 tire (taller), toe setting and camber it's going to be close. Non solid bushing and increased suspension movement all factor in. Even with the 65ET it is really close on a 10" rim and a 285. It would require a trial fit to be sure. I have a set of NB Fikse rims 10.5 width and 59 ET and they worked, but barely. When the suspension went to full race it was more tolerant.

18 x 10" rim with 295/30-18 on rear of lowered narrow body with no issues. Can't remember the offset of the wheel.
