I did my personal mats in black on black, and they look great. I have also done them for other clients, too.

Great choice, they are great mats indeed. I bought mine from darin. Black Ulimats with red piping and red Carrera script!

Darin,
Can those mats be ordered with Arena Red stitching and PORSCHE script?

That's why I switched to OEM mats with the Porsche logo in black on black. Perfect for me. Nothing to get dirty.
Dark colors wear better.

I might as well get black ... I seem to be cursed that when I "clean" mine, the embroidery get dirtier; red's stained black & never leaves.

I eventually gave up trying to fix them, replacing with new ones - an expensive way to 'clean.'
Then when "Speedy" was in Manhattan, I let the dealer 'clean' the car. Big mistake: made new passenger's mat darker ...right before her showcase in the NY International Auto Show

We met after that, & you took this at Hershey ...

Passenger's mat used to be this bright:

Enjoy your new mats, & thanks for the fun at the big swap meet!

Darin did mine black with CARRERA4 in burgundy which will match arena red or velvet red
Velvet red(top picture) arena red (bottom picture)

Just installed my Lloyds mats...Ultimats in Black, with PORSCHE in Wine stitching. The Wine color is indeed a perfect match for my Arena Red exterior and I really like the black contrast against the cashmere interior/carpet.

Seem to be higher quality than the OEM mats, (of course those are 14 years old. Really excellent product that's Made In The USA...highly recommend!

Darin,
Do you sell just the driver's side mat separately or are they only available in sets of 2 and 4?

David-- Woah. That's incredibly curious What happens when you go to the "993 Forum" screen & click on "Rennlist/ PCA member's 993 SPEEDSTER" (currently on the 1st page, but may drift back)???

Asking since above hyperlink goes directly to page 21 when I click. Currently thread's last page is 41 (post #602), so that implies there are 25 pages you - & possibly others - can't see, as long as your screen also shows 15 posts per page. Thanks for pointing this problem out.

To answer your question: the pedal comments & details start with Boston911fan's post #309 on page 21 & ends with your post #317 on page 22.

I'm glad you wrote; you were one of the original ones who were the most interested, so I've been wondering for 2 years whether you ended up getting a set. Post pix there when you do!

Let me know if you'd like more quoted from my Speedster thread. Here are your two, posts #315 & #317:
