Default AUDI Q?

Off topic but i have a 2006 3.2L A4 quattro that is my DD. I've never had any problems with the car but the back window lock on my drivers door just quit working...kind of important since i have kids...but atleast its in the "locked" position. from what i've read on other websites, this is fairly common. i'm obviously way past my warranty but only have 40,000 miles...i drive 2 miles round trip to work/back per day. so, question is does anyone have any good place to order this part? i have never really purchased anything for this car so don't know the good audi places on the web. any info would be much appreciated. THANKS

thanks for the info. i'll look for the part on their website. it should be an easy DIY...not really worried about fixing it myself...just not sure where to search for the part ...and no, not taking to dealer...i like my money too much to blow it for something that should be pretty easy DIY

We do have an offtopic forum for this... this thread clutters our 993 searches... no offense... we should be tighter about this...
