Give me a call and we can look into. My supply of 5 x 130 is pretty good right now.

Wow, no LM-R in 18"? That's surprising.

There is a lot of BS on the internet about the Targas not being track-worthy, or flexing (especially from people never even owning one) - but I tracked the car, drove it hard, had large wheels on it - and it all worked great with no structural or flexing issues.

So there you go.

I finally retrieved the Porsche bulletin refering to that subject.

"
Technical Bulletin "Retrofit of 18 Inch Wheels"
Part Identifier 4440 Number 9604
General Information: Retrofit of 18 inch wheels and tires on some 1995 911 Carrera Coupes and all 1996 911 Carrera Coupes and Cabriolets is now
approved. At this time, the 911 Targa is not approved for 18 inch
tire and wheel retrofit.

Yeah, I know the bulletin, but Porsche is covering its collective *** as usual. The Targa is at least as stiff than the Cabriolet so why would it be excluded? Because they did not want a lot of people coming in complaining of roof squeaks on the track is my guess, but who knows. The fact that the Targa was not even approved for 18" wheels is total BS (IMHO).

All I know is I tracked my Targa with both the 19" RUFS and the 18" MY02's and had no issues roof open or closed.

Cheers,

Mike
