19" wheels on a 993 make it look like an Amish buggy. In your case the 19" wheel almost touches the glass roof. Stick with the 18" LMs

I donno, these 19" LMs look better than anything I've seen on an Amish buggy!

Both C2S's with 19" BBS LMs look superb! Big fan of that silver C2s, believe it belongs to RL member - Foude

19" BBS, RUF etc will only look great if your running say a turbo front bumper or setup like Mike J's with the RS wing etc, it just completes the look with bigger wheels. And no 19" wheels will not affect your roof.

Sorry, nope - had a Targa for 10 years and always ran 18" and 19" wheels - no issues at all. I really dislike the stock Targa wheels - I would rather have a nice set of MY02's on the car, and loved the RUF's.

There is a lot of BS on the internet about the Targas not being track-worthy, or flexing (especially from people never even owning one) - but I tracked the car, drove it hard, had large wheels on it - and it all worked great with no structural or flexing issues.

So there you go.

Cheers,

Mike

19" Champion Motorsports RG-5b's, a bit rough on the thin rubber but the roof is still working.

It's really too bad they dont do LM-Rs in 18. IMO this would be the perfect wheel for the 993. Maybe a replica?? Not ideal of course - it's the harshness of the ride that scares me most with 19s
