if you listen carefully, you can hear the sound of wailing, and a grinding of teeth.

And I'm negotiating on a one-owner '73T coupe that hasn't run in 10 years with 94K original for about $10K. Sometimes you have to be in the right place at the right time................

had I'd seen it, I would have bought it for that price too. Now that my daughter can sit in the front, the rear seats don't have that much appeal.

I am going to have to put on my nomex underwear for this one, but....

What is the big deal with SRD? If you want the rear seat delete, take the frickin rear seats out and save yourself 25lbs and $200.

well, I certainly understand where your coming from here. That being said, seeing one is person can change ones mind. You also need the rear parcel shelf without the seat belt slots in it to complete the look.

Pretty...absolutely, more functional than just folding the rear jump seats down, the jury is still out on that one for me.

But hey, what do I know...I constantly defend the "worth" of 993 HB sport seats for christ sake.

+1 I never understood it either... OK, if you want one and it's $200, knock yourself out but some of the prices people pay for that thing are just nuts...

Not that I think it will sell, but there's one on eBay with $2800 buy it now price...

Hey, I have used 993 cassette holder thingy for sale, anyone interested? I'm only asking $850 + shipping.

Also, I'd be willing to let go my engine tray, best offer over $1200 OBO...

$200 for a RSD that caught on fire in a crash. Sounds about right to me.

Everyone else is still talking about the RSD, and I'm all "say what?" about THIS post.

Slow news day. You want something to discuss, look for what I'll find to post in a few. Been lazy to make a thread for a couple of days since someone else posted it..................

I am indifferent to the rsd - it looks nice, but it seems like it's a lot of extra weight just to get rid of a couple of seats. It kind of makes me think of a comedian I saw who said : what if the telephone had been invented after email - people would be saying screw email I can punch a number in a phone and actually talk directly to a person! What if most 993's came with a rsd - people would go crazy for the rare rear seat option which allowed you to have rear passengers or when there was no one in the back you could fold down the seats to have a cargo area...
