Cars and Coffee in Rancho Santa Fe
Been spending the last few weeks down here in San Diego. There is a small town a couple of miles east of Solana Beach, Rancho Santa Fe, that most Saturdays has an eclectic gathering of cars from 9am-11am. Went this morning and thought you guys might like to see what showed up. including a genuine Shelby KR, 67 Ferrari and a Delahaye. The Fisker dealer also had a car there.

The Delahaye was SWEET!
Though I wouldn't kick the 275 out of bed either....
Glad to see that you are enjoying SD with "the secret car club of RSF".

No kidding! The guy with the Delahaye came last week with an extremely rare Auburn and the Ferrari guy has a Daytona also at home.
Thanks Craig, say hi next time. I saw two or three guys stopped on bikes next to my car, was that you?

Chatted with the owner a little. He's had it about a year, it had a three year ground up restoration. It's a '55 I believe he said and was one of Porsches race or rally cars, not sure which, so it's a one-off. It had the competition clocks on the dash, it's a Continental and it took him a long time to find. Car was pretty much perfect.

I've been going to that event for the last couple of years, fairly regularly. It's called the Secret Car Club, but don't tell anyone. I've posted pics a few times. But, I've been gone the last two Saturdays, however-in DFW waiting for a flight as I type.
RSF is about the most expensive real estate in the US, so there are lots of hidden gems scattered all over the area. As a result, the cars we get there are unbelievable. The '55 you posted was basically a car not for sale, but he pretty much gave the PO a blank check, and scored. Porsche even sent some folks over to look at it, due to their interest in the car.

Have you made the trek up to Irvine C&C yet? As cool as Secret Car Club is, nothing compares to Irvine. Anywhere in the world, I'd venture, and that is not an overstatement.
