You might consider steel synchros for some gears and billet shift forks while in

Hard to imagine your 993 any better; it's spectacular.

To be done in time for Palooza (aka Escape to the Ozarks)?

There needs to be a group buy on the gears and steel synchros.

+1 ^^

I pour all the sand, gravel, and rocks I can onto any 'slippery slopes' I find.

Then guys like Chuck come along

... and remind me I now need a boulder to block yet another slippery slope

Can I ask what ratios you are considering? Bottom line is I love mine and would do it again in a second however I may be inclined to go a little shorter even starting with a 2.25 2nd in lieu of 2.176. For most of my around town shifts that extra little bit is desirable. That said its also the character of the stock motor that's lacking...which now has me dreaming of a no compromise 3.8
O

I haven't decided on a final set of rations yet. Your pOST ADND THE link are really helpful. I like yyour choices. I have all the raion/rpm charts. One reason i posted was to help me formulate my final set of ratios I want to go with.

Thanks very much for the info

I didn't make mine from the car business! I'm certainly glad I experienced it; and while Porsches paid for a bit of racing with Shop 1.0, I completely gave it up with Shop 2.0 so I could pay for law school. Well, the excess of what the scholarship didn't cover. Hmm, now that I think about it racing might have been cheaper????

(And I haven't raced in over 5 years now since the health went to crap.)
