Not my 993, but you may find helpful info in my old "rear grill paint-- contrasting color" thread, when I was considering contrasting grillz for my '08-'09 Speedster build.

Following up on the previous Vesuvius with silver OEM paint scheme pix ^^
...from the "My 993S Vesuvio" thread, where you'll see grahampeterm's gorgeous 'BluSuvius' is painted similarly:

[When did RL / moderators get rid of the "delete post" option when editing?
Fat-fingered folks like me found it useful when double-posts occured.
...like how this one started
User error's always an option in my case - am I just missing the 'delete' option?]

At the start of the thread, I thought this color contrasting might be a bad idea.

Now I'm quite sure of it.

Um

Painted grill does yield pages of reading.

I was looking for grills NOT painted the body color.

Thanks though.
