We have had 2 cars that had problems with interior vibration/resonance after installing the Wevos. Switched out to RS mounts and it went away. Not sure what factors contributed to this, but we prefer the RS moints to avoid this issue with other clients.
That being said, Wevo has a nice product and many people use them with success.

Exactly, went with the RS, didn't want any chance of some of the NVH that has been mentioned with the Wevos. YMMV

When I installed the RS mounts, I also felt that the rear end was more controllable with less lateral movement. I noticed a bit more vibration/noise, but have gotten used to it.

The mounts I took out were most likely original but looked to be in good shape with no leaks.

I did find clutch feel was better, but my shifting has become clunky - almost as if clutch was not completely disengaged - but I think it is a worn rubber bushing in shifter. Will replace when I do Goldenrod.

I also noted that front end "shimmy" has become noticeable so will be installing Walrod bushings in the near future.

BTW, I chose RS over WEVO simply because they were Porsche. No other good or technical reason.

My only reason was they are OEM parts.

For reference this is what my old mounts looked like...no leaking but they were definitely not performing to design intent...

other than increased NVH, I agree

(Hope he doesn't hear us talking about him....)

Actually, he's been on a "back to stock" kick for his car, so it might be part of it as well.

I did notice the NVH increase as well when I did mine, since I often use bluetooth in the car. BUT it wasn't horrible and I got used to it. I think my DAS bar install causes MUCH more noise, since its tied directly to the body and brings all that noise into the cabin. But who cares? Right pedal to the floor fixes any sound issues!

How do Wevo softs compare to RS? I'm kind of motivated to change my 18 YO mounts this summer, but don't want to sell stock to buy stock bits. I was thinking RS may be the way to go.....

PS-the wheels are with Nathan at Velvet Touch.

I think a lot plays into the decision here. Mostly how hard do you really drive the car and whether you listen to a sound system and are sensitive or not to mechanical noise.

If a sound system is part of your driving enjoyment and you are not driving the car full throttle a lot or on a track, then probably stock mounts are what you want. These are hydraulic isolation units that isolate noise and vibration, but allow the engine to move around enough to affect the shifter and throttle response in hard onand off full throttle use.

If you want a bit more precision in the shift gate and autocross or track the car once in a while, but have a radio and don't want much more interior noise and need better throttle steer get the RS or Wevo which have a little rubber in them but much less engine motion and some noise isolation.

If you have no radio, like the sound of mechanical things, have removed the sound deadening anyway, have a light flywheel and louder exhaust you won't notice much more noise going to solid mounts from RS (I have done this), but you will notice the other benefits of better throttle response and shift pattern stability.

Wevo's are stiffer than the RS...I think it a qualitative rather than quantitative thing. One thing that may (or may not) matter to you, is that when going with Wevo, most shops (incl IIRC Rennsport) will recommend that you strengthen the engine carrier unless the car is a Turbo. Most here will opine that is not necessary esp if you don't track the car and will say they have never had an issue, but if you ask a shop they will tend to be conservative and recommend you do it. A broken engine carrier at speed can be nasty....there was someone either here or on the 964 board that had a broken carrier on a stock car with factory mounts. Also, if you see a stock carrier in person, it is surprisingly thin
