Default Help: Rennfax PPI NYC suggestions?

Have a friend very seriously interested in a 964 RS America located in NYC. Any suggestions re. shop familiar with late model air cooled cars for PPI? Any Rennlister who would lay eyes on the car would be helpful too

TIA

Try to reach a Rennlister "JPS". Very knowledgeable to take closer look. He might know of somebody for a PPI. IMHO

Very kind of you Dryfly. ilko is likely more knowledgable, but I'm happy to devote a few unschooled braincells to taking a peek. I owe some Rennfaxes

Closest NYC shop is Formula Motorsports in Long Island City, about 5-10 min over the Queensborough bridge.

I would avoid Formula based on other members' dealings with that shop.

The closest ones are Lynmor in Huntington on Long Island or Rennwerke in Elmsford (Westchester). CIM Motorsports in Central Valley is my personal favorite, but not necessarily the closest.

My experience has been generally positive, if not generally inexpensive. Mark knows air cooled cars well.

I have used Rennwerke in Elmsford, NY and Morton Competition in Stamford, CT - both a 45min drive from NYC.

I know the car is sold, but it should be said that Mark Tajian @ Formula has a good reputation in Metro NY region, despite the other guy's opinion. (No relationship)

LOL. I see a few Italian things but mostly us German fans local to NYC. Like I say, good guys, knowledgeable, local.
EDIT: Missed on my mobile that was referring to MMC.
