No. But if you want the full story we can spend all day at your next track event going over the details, or you can put me in a car with someone..........
We had a handful of early Ruf and Ruf-lite stuff come through Phoenix in the '80s. Fast? Sure. Memorable? Not really. And a guy I used to help out at POC events a few years later had a homebuilt Ruf 930--little of this, little of that and most importantly the 5-speed box. Spent a bit of time in that car.
For OUR roads and tracks, I'd take any number of "takes" on a 930 that came out of SoCal during that era over a Ruf. They all start with the same car, and it's not rocket science to figure out what to do to "go fast."
Bottom line, if you've got torsion bar era nostalgia, and an unlimited bank account, there are many builders here who can go waaaaay beyond what these cars were. But if you're just looking to add to a collection, different story.
