The center reflector is what I miss on 911s. My dad pointed it out to me by my dad (not on his 73). Thankfully you can get them on the 997.2 now.

Ruf does it.

But I personally don't like it. If your center is faded and cracked, do what the 964 boys did by painting it back with red transparent paint. It will hide some of the cracks and bring back the red.

I had thought about doing the same, but mine wound up buffing out nicely despite looking pretty sad when I got the car. I couldn't find any pictures to reinforce my opinion either way (didn't know RUF did this). I think it looks good, especially on the blue car above, but I think some colors might look better than others. A vinyl trial might be in order it seems..

Tint is an excellent idea to experiment with, not expensive at all and easily removable.
I'll give it a try soon....
