Default Jerry and 959

Hi.
Rumors says that Mr Seinfeld is on the forum.
I wander if he is, if he could care to contact me regarding the rebuilding of my 959. I have also heard that he might be having some parts-some that I might need for my rebuild.

I would appreciate any help.

Regards,
Roar

You may want to contact Wayne Dempsey, the CEO of Pelican Parts. He's a 959 guy too. And, well, he's in the parts biz and can probably help you there too. I think Wayne has had Callas in SoCal do his wrenching.

... and of course, Bruce Canepa's shop who did Seinfeld's 959 federalization and modifications and brings in and modifies most of the ones that are here in the U.S. legally

Tony Callas does do the wrenching on Wayne's 959 and a few others too. Give him a call at Callas Rennsport in Torrance, CA.

BTW:
I've asked Jerry (in the past) if he's on Rennlist and he said no. He told me that he doesn't have the time and computers aren't really his thing.

Somehow I doubt he does any of his own rebuilding...or even swings a wrench.

Oh, he's here; if you were Jerry Seinfeld, would you tell us about you??

Yeah, he's not on here. I posted an invitation to him a few years ago. Offered to let him sleep on my couch if he ever wanted to come to Utah to ski. Never heard from him.

If you have a place in Jackson there's a real good chance your couch is more comfortable than mine. Food's probably better too.

Come up some time!

Some good roads for a 993 too.

But you have plenty of those already...
Not to mention some great skiing, even if Jerry doesn't know it

It would be cool if Jerry was on here. His Porsche knowledge and love for the cars is pretty cool and as he's got access to some neat Porsche's of past it would be nice to hear his thoughts on each etc.

However, I understand that with his celebrity status he'd be inundated with requests or off topic messages.
