Default 1998 C2S @ Porsche Fort Myers

Does anyone know anything about this car?

http://porscheofftmyers.reachlocal.n...a03a03830e.htm

A good friend of mine is looking for a 993 and this one has caught his eye. Apparently the seller is now asking for $50k.

Anyone close enough to take a quick look?

Thanks much,

Rick

My freind lives down there and he drove it. Said it is "fresh" and clean...drove great with little or no undesireable petina. Frankly, I love the look of this car and as the price continues to drop it looks nicer and nicer. They were asking a lot more for it earlier.

Nope. ABD was stock on the 4S, I believe. But ABD was definitely not standard on the S.

Carfax showed plugs were done at 26k, but logbook didn't indicate 30k service performed. Very very nice car!!!

LSD was an option, not standard.

ADB was stock on the MY98 C2S.... The MY98 Monroney lable and the Porsche Certificate of Authenticity backs this up. Quote: "Limited Slip Differential with ADB"... IIRC in '98 Porsche AG added a few things to sweeten the C2S car sold in North America. Additionally, there was significant C2S "trunk money" to the dealership. The TM amount was tied to the options cost total $$$$.
Something along the idea of the more options the larger the TM discount. I'd spend over $15K in options; Full leather, HID, HiFi stufff, Aux oil coolers, HB sport seats, etc..
