I am looking at 993 in CT (yes from a dealer - Sloan - that has been the object of a few posts here on this forum...). I am looking at a good shop (vs dealer) to do a a thorough PPI (obviously unaffiliated / independent) so that I can make sure it is as pristine as presented. Car is a low mileage (less than 15k). I have read the posts on him (which are both positives and negatives).

Anyone close to his shop who can look at a car quickly? I am planning to drive there also to look at the car (but it is a 7 hour drive).

Dan Jacobs is the closest in Oxford or Auto Associates in Canton.

looks like it is tough to get an appointment at these shops this week. I might need to go to a dealer.... there are many in the area. Any that is better than others? thanks

I wouldn't go to a dealer, if you are worried about the car selling, put down a deposit subject to a PPI.

Chris Musante is the first place I'd choose for a proper PPI in CT. He won't dwell on the cosmetics but you can be sure he'll give it a proper check over in terms of performance, handling and mechanicals.

Your seller should accept a deposit, "pending PPI"
