My track advice....Easy does it, start slow (REALLY slow) and build up. Even with track insurance, you do not want to "just walk away from it". My other advice: Do a lot of AX events to learn the nuance of car control. You don't want to learn throttle steering, pitch and catch at very high speeds on a track...cones are very forgiving, walls and tire barriers not so much.
Yeah, I had planned on hitting an auto-x or one of the lapping days at the go-kart track that they have, but I kept getting tied up with stuff. PR isn't exactly the most forgiving track, especially on the back side where dirt walls and trees are just feet from the track surface, not really a comfy place to experiment, lol! Makes for a nice drive though..
That is so weird, it's like the whole video is in slow motion; but ouch!!
Something to be said for the oriental ways. I have an inclination to get car sick if my students aren't smooth so, in addition to telling them that I could barf in their car (great incentive to be smooth!), I take a couple of ginger root tablets with breakfast. Seems to work!
Wow, even if that weren't true I'd not want to try and call your bluff, lol!
Thankfully I've done a fair few tack days before, just none in my 993 (a very recent purchase, solely for track use). I'm off to Spa: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Circuit...-Francorchamps
Nice! You guys over there have some nice tracks to play on. Definitely take lots of pictures!
Thankfully the getaway car is fast!
No, I've been out there 11-12 times or so, so I am fairly familiar with it but in a different car. But I've never seen anyone back in the woods, just the corner workers. I guess I just assumed no one was allowed back there..guess I'll have to ask!
Is that what they mean by "meth injection" these days?
