Help with Tires

If you're not too worried about tread life, I might check out the Hankook R-S3. They were the last tires I had on my previous car and I really, really liked them for the money. I'd have gotten them this time around but they're on backorder in 17" sizes..
If those are a bit extreme, the Conti DW's might be the in-between ticket. Mine go on tomorrow!

245/40/18 and 285/35/18
I know that these are not OEM sizes but the diameter difference looks ok and when I checked the section and track width for an 8" front and 11" rear rim (996 Turbo rims) it came quite close to the AD08s that I am running (225/40/18 and 295/30/18) on the same rims.

I had 285/35-18's on all four corners on 18x10's...here's a pic of you are curious about the fit. You'd have a little bit of stretch it looks like.
