I had a similar posting a while ago but would like to use this get some feedback on the RS3 in the sizes:

245/40/18 and 285/35/18

I know that these are not OEM sizes but the diameter difference looks ok and when I checked the section and track width for an 8" front and 11" rear rim (996 Turbo rims) it came quite close to the AD08s that I am running (225/40/18 and 295/30/18) on the same rims.

I had 285/35-18's on all four corners on 18x10's...here's a pic of you are curious about the fit. You'd have a little bit of stretch it looks like.

I can recommend Yokohama Advan Neova AD08's .. seriously sticky, compliant, quiet, in wet or dry ..
