Default 993 RSR Install begins

I have been getting ready for the move from a stock build to a proper GT engine over the winter. Here is the 3.8 after some prep work. I will update this as it goes in to detail what it takes to complete this project. Included will be conversion to electric PS and Motec.

Nice build bob....

Interested in how and where you do the Electric PS pump, I have one as well and in the process of collecting parts for my engine rebuild...

Looking forward to more updates.

What cam are you using? 305 degree?

What made you go with CMW heads instead of extreme cylinder heads?

Can you post a dyno? I just want to see where your torque picks up. Tnx

Bob:

Looking good. You sure that guy didn't have a second one of those laying around in his shop??? Let me know if you need an extra set of hands this weekend getting her back in (I'm pretty good at petting the dogs and raiding your fridge while you're working).

Glen that would have been sweet!! We could have lined up then and been black flagged in unison. I have put a good 20 hours into getting it together correctly. Little bits here and there. New ground wires, proper alternator wiring, engine tin, cleaning it up etc. I also have a cure for that factory alarm you still have installed in the passenger area. (Takes 5 minutes to delete). I am also working on the ground effects to tunnel the air under the car properly like a modern GT car does.
