Good to hear...and noises tend to be amplified greatly when one thinks it is a noise to worry about. 
I will say, first thing in the morning when it is cold, my car is relatively silent. I've wondered if a heavier gear oil would help cushion things and shut it up (but the question then becomes, would the synchros like it..).
