But when I had my car idling, it started at 110.3 then 20 mins later i came back it was 110.5. I didn't drive it at all!
The trip odometer is physically tied in with the main odometer, and they don't advance themselves. Maybe you just thought the 3 was a 5. Or your car took a little walk around the block because it didn't like sitting around idling.
