Turns out that cheesy looking Alpine head unit is a factory radio. What was Porsche thinking? The thing has buttons and lights that don't even come close to matching the rest of the instrument panel.

Of course, installing the new head-unit is going to be a bit of a job (and more expensive than originally thought).
