Request - Photos of a de-badged 993 ?
Anybody have some rear shots of their 993 after badge removal? (Especially a black or dark color)
My "Carrera" badge has some flaws in the finish and I'm thinking of replacing or going without.

Here's my arctic silver metallic 2S without the Carrera S script....delete order option. The photo was taken more than a decade ago while at Werk 1 having several mods attended to; M033, ROW bumper covers, TUV rear fog light, MY96 (G50/21) gearbox w/LSD, RS LWF & shift kit and the black engine grill.
Edit: G50/21 gearbox enhancement. LINK: http://p-car.com/gearfaq
The link's author Viken, was a valued moderator of this site waaay back when it was known as the Porschelist.org. With his encouragement many took the G50/21, RS LWF plunge. Slippery slope these performance enhancements....
The power output of the 3.6 normally aspirated suffers a great deal when driven @ 8,500' elev., as is the case when we're in Colorado.
The G50/21 & RS LWF helps to diminish the high altitude loss of power charactor.
The Polar silver metallic 993 wide body car in the foreground is also a C2S with its body colored split grill removed for the black triditional version.

That would be code for the Model Year '96 gearbox. Edit.
The gear ratio spacing is a wee bit closer than the ROW/USA gearbox of a MY98 993.
If I recall its a G21 w/LSD.. Big difference from the MY98 G-what ever gearbox ratio's.

How easily are they removed? Will the paint/ clearcoat be noticeably different?
Tim, that shot of the twins side by side is gorgeous !
I need wide ovals , what a difference, makes stock tips look puny .
