Steering brace dimensions: over all length: 27cm, holes on centre: 25.5cm. This one has never been installed and it's for sale for 1 million dollars... no, not really - I'm holding on to it to pay for my kids' education...

I made one of these out of aluminum bar stock a few months back as well. It was pretty straightforward. I countersunk the bolt holes and had to do a bit of whittling in one area to clear some hard lines.

Well if you were willing to sell it I was going to take out a second mortgage to buy it. Do you think 30% is a good interest rate for the second mortgage?

Pretty funny, same car same name, Canada..... What else do we have in common? Male? Human? Breathing?

Peter, is there anything you won't make?

My company can produce, but after checking into it I am sorry to say the cost would be around $68.00. Also I would need an order of around 12.

Rick, does your company do sand castings? Might be good info for the future with my company. I don't have anything in the works now, but let me know some more info for the future if you could.

Is that for a copy of the OE piece or a weldment?

We cannot do sand castings. We would probably cut out the bracket shape on our water jet or plasma cutter then weld up the end pieces. It would be a high quality bracket.
We would make it to match the photo on the post, but we can make any design (OEM or Welment) if given a sample. We can also make it out of any type of metal needed. If we were to do this it would be very helpful if I had a sample to go by

I need some money right now, so I could make a few of these on my manual mill for anyone who wants one.
PM me or write on here if interested. Material will be 6061-T6 and the edges will be a little more "square" than the OEM ones. $50 sound fair?

Is this freaking cool or what?

1. Someone asks about where to get a part.
2. Several suggestions are given, 1. make one, 2. go to a salvage yard.
3. Multiple offers to manufacture part are made.

so, anyone know where I can get a G50/21?
