pretty mean looking stance...I imagine visibility out of it must be awful. What's with the radiator(I assume) inlet area in front, could they make it a little less pronounced.

I would be more interested in building this kit, http://www.thunderranch.com/904.html (with a 993 engine and trans).

That thing looks pretty mean... great concept to use the MR layout and cheap option of the boxster. The wheels look a little too big in proportion to the car; anyone else feel the same?

Beck 904, with Carrrera 3.2 engine. I've seen it right next to a real 904, & it was good enough for me.

Uh, just picture the underlying Boxster slammed to that extent with wheels that wide and consider how it will even be able to successfully get into that photography studio. There's real world performance, and there's full scale model building. When I consider how much effort my cousin went into reverse engineering the 910 (and by extension the 907), I pretty much laugh at body conversions.

Why? A mag case engine isn't enough? Consider simply the weight difference between the 3.6/G50, and the earlier Mg components. Funnyism to relate today considering this--track friend just took delivery of a McLaren and he says without traction control he would not be able to control the car AT ALL until 3rd gear speeds.

Only a matter of time before creative people find a kit car application or two for all the used Boxsters out there.

Put a little small block chevy V8 in there and you've got something interesting.

Works for me... just fwd'ed the link to a few Boxster owners around here. I loved the Boxster show car, but never really bonded with the real thing. But I could love a 904 kit-car, based on the Boxster.
