Another one popped up on cars.com yesterday. Very similar to yours 177mph. 4S with hardbacks. Too many mods for what I am looking for and $$$$.

Interesting phenomena going on right now with widebodys. Nice examples are selling fast. Chris sold his in about 10 days. Not so nice examples are also selling. Several I have followed in the past 30 days have gone back to Germany.
And the real nice ones at Sloans, Willhoit, TruSpeed etc. are sitting.
Maybe it's seasonal and owners considering selling are waiting for spring but my real fear is widebodys are still are going back to Germany at a high rate. At $39K that craigslist car would be snatched up by a European broker in one day.
The European brokers have dealer/flipper contacts here in the US. I have stumbled across them in my hunt. They know what the Euro buyers want, scour the internet and typically buy in one day without a PPI, etc.
There was a time when TruSpeed would always have 5-6 WB's on hand. Not anymore. These cars are drying up. I think the market will continue to indicate that going forward. Prices on widebodys (regardless of condition) have risen over the past 12 months despite economic conditions.
It will be interesting to see what happens to WB pricing when things turn around and cash frees up again someday.

So what I hear being said is,,,, sell your C2S in Germany..?
What goes round comes round. Recall when the German D Mark was 4 to 1 to the USD. Sure the Euro currently doesn't have that kind of leg up .... but let's keep our 993s here!
Hey,, the world is getting smaller by the minute....

+1. Good catch cabrio993. However the seller claims the "car runs 100%".!!
The Boxster wheel fitted on a 993 coupe is a Tell..as for the ownership history. The 986 wheels are a cheap & plentiful replacement for the OE Cup II or the optional 18" turbo twists.
A big tell.
What a nick pickers lot..... us 993 owners....

I'm following the German market on a weekly basis over the last year, and I can confirm C2S widebodies are selling VERY fast. I bought mine after 2 days on the market and the seller had 2 other people coming over the same day, so the price was bumped up 5k EUR.
Usual selling time for a black widebody seems to be 1-2 weeks, and prices are indeed going up.
