My 993 has been misfiring on cylinder 4 when I ran the code. The car struggles/stumbles on full throttle. I have replaced the distributer cap and rotors and nothing changed. I think I am going to just bite the bullet and bring it into a shop to have it diagnosed.

Any have a recommendations for a reasonable Porsche shop in the Fairfield County Connecticut region.

I have had good luck at AA in Canton.

 

I've used Dan Jacobs in Oxford, AA in Canton and Musante's in South Windsor. All three are good.

I've used AA in Canton for a PPI...great shop. Used Speedsport in Danbury several times...ex Farnbacher guys there too. Either is great.

Did you verify that the distributor drive belt was intact when you had the caps off?
