Another wheel that I think looks stunning is the 18" Cup2. A few boys on the 964 picture thread posted up some beauties with them on.

Never cared for the twists. Love my Cup 2's on the Targa.

haygeebaby,

Yes, I agree the spacers add to the nice-looking stance. Even if just a 7mm or so, I prefer the look ...and yours looks great! I found a used pair of spacers long ago and put them on the front just on a whim ...like it! anyone with another pair of spacers they wanna sell, I can certainly use them for the rear. Hear that, all: pair of spacers shout out

Great pics, folks; keep em coming! Still waiting on a good targa wheel shot ...dig those!

I've actually been in the same boat lately. I just recently sold my 19" wheels and considering going back to Cup IIs. Not really sure what to do right now, but the thought of going back to period-correct is enticing.

It depends which side of the car you are looking at. Go look at your passenger side.

There is no right way because they only go on one way...they are all cast the same. Which is why I said they should make them "sided" in an earlier post ^^^.

I also do not like spokes that aren't multiples of our lug nuts. Either 5 or 10 spokes, but not 6, 7, 8 or 9, for example.

sided.. ahh.. didnt think of that and will go check. I thought the design had to do with brake cooling, but maybe one side is intake and other exhaust.. and you need to swap them based on direction of the track (clockwise or counterclockwise) that is a pretty smart feature the engineers came up with!! :P

The problem is they aren't "sided" which is why they point the wrong way with respect to the wheels on the other side of the car.

I like the look of the Cup 2s. It just looks right on the car. The other wheel I like is the RS Speedlines (and who wouldn't!). But the cost, then the work trying to keep thm clean keeps me away.

I did not realize there was an 18" Cup 2 available. That may be the ticket!

And the twists have how many spokes?

Aren't the "spokes" on the twists actually "blades"? I've often wonder for those Targa and other RS Speedline owners, can you explain your cleaning regimine for keeping them clean?
