Buy the long ones and cut them down. A very simple DIY. I think the first mod I did to my car.

You just slowly and carefully saw off the portion that doesn't fit because of the bumperette. You then seal that freshly cut edge with some fish tank silicone sealant from Home depot. My description sounds like it's a pretty ghetto way of doing it, but it's not at all.

When I cut mine down I went to tap plastic a purchased a 1/8" thick board and cut out pieces to glue at the ends.

The Better Bodies clear's are great. I talked to the owner. They buy the Porsche part from Europe, then they have a jig to cut them down exactly. Then they seal the ends with caulk. Mine popped in very easily. Putting in the new amber lamps is a little tricky. The bulbs they included didn't work for me so I got some silver tipped ambers on a specialty bulb site (found the link on RL).

Can you elaborate on the "after" pic regarding the bumperette holes? I see that you have cut out a piece to cover the existing bumperette holes. Did you cut the piece from the original black plastic piece? and how is it attached to the bumper?
Might be a good interim solution until i get the holes filled and painted. Thanks.
