Default FS: Kinesis Supercup wheels - Speedline replicas

I've decided to sell off a large selection of my wheel collection as I don't seem to be switching them out as often as I used to.

First set up for grabs are these Kinesis Supercups:

8x18 front
10x18 rear

These are narrow body offsets & were refinished a couple of years ago by the PO. They have a really nice gray finish on the centers. The lips could use a polish to make them shine as they can, but over all they are in really nice shape.

Price = $2300 plus shipping (probably $20-25 per wheel.

Please PM me with any questions.

Default Question?

If my memory serves me the 18" use a 16" center and therefore will not fit over Big Red brakes.I'm I right?

I had Supercups on a C4S w/ turbo brakes in the past and they fit fine.

There were plans in the works to produce a true 18" with the appropriate centers. I think I even saw the prototype Kinesis produced. They were then sold and the project shelved unfortunately.

What's the weight of a rear? Heavier than the Speedline RS or lighter. I hope the latter.

Sorry guys - I got busy after posting this thread earlier. I will respond to the PM's in the order received.

Regarding the offsets; as with all Kinesis wheels there are no markings for the ET numbers, so it's not possible to provide an accurate answer. These are likely in the ET50 front / ET60 rear range - they are for the NB.

The 18" Supercups used the 17" centers with slant lips to create the 18". I believe they do fit over big red brakes - I will try to confirm tomorrow.

I'm 99.9% sure the centers are from the original 17" wheels

Default AW21 any pics of your car set up that way.

AW21 do you have any pics of your 4S with the Supercups installed.I called Ernie of Ernies Alloys(305-687-0028) in Miami and he confirmed what I thought. The Supercups made by Kinesis will not fit over real 993 turbo Big Reds.

Do you think that slanted lip is only one inch?

Actually... Some do, some don't. Back in the day you could order them from Wheel Enhancement and they'd build them to fit over big reds if you asked for it. They were called "thick centers." The "thin centers" don't fit. Needless to say there were not many "thick centers" built.

Nick, PM on its way. About something else...

Here's a set I had a few years ago & sold. They were WB offsets - I just don't know if there were any differences other than the rear lip / barrel widths.
