Nice Chuck! I was planning on doing the same thing. How is it mounted on the grill?

I'll take some photos tomorrow that show more detail and one from further away. The badge has two posts on the back that fit thru the cutouts in the grill insert on the decklid. Screws are real small. Might be interesting getting a good grip. I haven't mounted it yet. I only took a pic with the badge placed where I plan to mount it. What do you think of the badge location?
Andreas helped me find this piece Thanks Andrreas!!

Chuck,
Glad I could help. It sounds like a small rectangle of black ABS plastic (1/8" thick or so) would act as a good backer under the grill. Drill it for the two screws and then sandwich the grill between the badge and the plastic backer. Something like this would work.

Take care,

Needs to be lowered to match the 3.4 one.I know the air intake is right there is you are using a turbo trumpet. It will not effect the engine cooling ,especially ,if you have drilled out your box cover.

The posts coming out of the back of the badge are threated for samll screw. A washer is provided Andreas that I didn't mention. The idea is to place the badge, and get the posts situated so you can put the washer at the end of the post and then fasten with nut provided.
ope that the posts are long enough to protruce just slighty past the grill insert (I think they are).

I suggest that you use nylon locking nuts to secure.

I know I would never check them, and over time, they could loosen up. hate to have a loose nut falling into a spinning fan...
