I just got back pricing on getting TiALN coated lug nuts. We would need to send over either chrome plated or stainless steel lug nuts for this process, the gold colored CAD plated lug nuts would not be acceptable unless they were stripped of the CAD plating first.
TiALN would leave a matte gun-barrel dark grey type of color, not a true "black".
Cost would be $4 per lug nut. Not cheap, but you would be the only one in town with Titanium coated nuts...

If this is something people here would be interested in I can send a sample to get done and take some pictures when I get them back?
