Hello!

My 993C2 1994 has a gearknob and handbrake in fake wood. I now want to replace it with something black och black/alu
Is it possible to fit a 996 gearknob and handbrake on the 993? Is it bolt on?

The gear **** will fit straight on, but you will need to use the 993 gaiter on the 996 gear ****, when I did mine the 996 gaiter was not long enough to allow me to engage reverse gear with out stretching the gaiter.

The 996 hand brake is very different and will not just bolt into a 993

Wood is not fake, btw.

There are plenty of 993 ***** and handbrakes in both black and aluminum out there starting with RS ****, S round *****, etc.

I have the 996 aluminium hand brake and gear **** from Carnewal in my car, perfect fit.

I have the 996 shift ****, but as already mentioned, the boot doesn't fit the 993. I had the **** sewn to my 993 boot to make it work well.

OK, so the handbrake is the 993 one, the gearshift is the modded 996 one, shame, I thought there was a quick fix!
