Leaving SF today on the way to the airport I see a 993TT, artic silver, lowered, with twists. What I noticed when he flew past was the polished twin exhaust tips. (figure eight).

I liked these very much and was hoping someone had a pic of theirs, who makes them, and cost?

 

Twin tips are on each side of the car are only on the 993 Turbo S ....

 

Only on the Turbo S from the factory that is.

This was a 993TT non S. Just like everything else, I'm sure aftermarket or OEM exist on our cars.

 

I had a set and just sold it a few months ago. Came with the PMS 450hp kit and I didn't like how they looked so never used them. Sat in my garage for about 10 years. I think Gert may still sell them. Probably not cheap.

 

Forget the exhaust tips.....you were in SF and didn't come out to the shop and say hi.....Wtf!?

 

I really liked them, and I am looking for some winter projects if anyone has a set.

I was a speaker at the OracleWorld conference. They fly us in and back out again. A mere 50,000 person mad house. I did GPS your shop to see how far it was, but they don't give us rental cars because of the massive amount of people I guess.

I know you were joking but I really want to see your shop and you know, show you a couple tricks of the trade. (ie. how to stick tape on back of gauge rings..., install floor mats...yep! Next time!!

 

The true Turbo S pipes are much longer than standard, to fit, it involves cutting the outlet pipe on the rear box, a real PITA and non reversable

The Porsche turbo S twin pipes are still available from Porsche, just under $1000 the pair

Dual tips? Not a good look IMO, esp the turbo S versions, but to each their own.
