Took a drive down to Maryland from Ottawa a few weeks ago to pick up a set of used sport seats that were advertised recently. Besides getting lost in the rough part of Philly in the middle of the night and eventually "sleeping in a van down by the river" in Allentown, it was all worth it.
A few notes from the seatback removal for paintmatching
1, Its just a stretchy big rubber 1/2 zipper holding the leather back on and nothing to be afraid of. The leather took 5 min. to remove and the same to re install. It just stretches into place. The two black pins at the bottom that hold the back on require the center pin being pulled out before they can be removed.
2, A few metal clips aid holding the "zipper" in the groove and its not a bad idea to put on a few extras when you put it back on.
3, when putting it back on center it on the top to allign it but start putting it on at the bottom on either side.
I have an extra inch of headroom from the cab headliner which I needed and they are a touch firmer than the comfort seat but the extra support makes it better for longer drives. Here are a few pics

The cost to paint the two shells was $90.00 with 3 coats of clear. I was going to just mask them but I am glad I removed the leather and padding. It was simple and fast. I got some extra clips from an auto upholstery shop to tighten up the fit of the leather in a few of the higher tension areas. Possibly not necessary but extra insurance .

congrat's!
A MUST have IMHO, just add sooooo much to the looks of the car. The bonus is they are even MORE noticable in a cab.
Much more comfortable and supportive for me, than the stock comfort seats.
Looks fanfrickintastic, congrats again!
