Default Squealing noise from electric engine fan - engine off

Parked the car tonight after a quick drive… turned the key back on to put up the top and the electric fan that pulls air through the plastic duct on the top/drivers side of the engine was making a hell of a squealing noise. First time I have ever heard it… My first thought is to check the bearings in the fan but wanted to check here first.

Any ideas?

thanks

Yeah, they go out.

Might want to check for a used one as a lot of people remove them for a RS bypass duct.
