Yes, you pay the core fee and hold on to your originals.

Could someone sell me an exhaust system that makes my car sound like this? Maybe stage IVs? And will the mufflers make my car (and driver) fast enough to beat 996/997 cup cars like this one does?

I'm keeping my B&B mufflers when stage III's get here tuesday, so by doing that I paid the core charge as Darin couldn't take delivery of my B&B's as they aren't oem mufflers.
So, I'll have options I guess until someone buys them

does anyone have the fister IIIs with a sportkat ?
could you tell me how you find the sound ? too loud or not ?

ive seen the movie of the fister II + 200Cell cat.
Is this actually louder then just the fister II ?

cheers

I don't have sportcats yet but I do have FD stage IIIs. My guess is that an FDmuffler/sportcat equipped Carrera would create a even deeper exhaust note not necessarily louder. Well, probably a little bit louder but in a good way.
Honestly, you can't go wrong with the Fisters. The Stage III mufflers are in my opinion the perfect aggressive combo of growl, rasp, pop and burble without any drone/resonance that typically happens with aftermarket exhaust systems.
A big thank you goes out to Darin for encouraging me to go with the velvet black finish because it looks incredible! The FD boys did their homework
Hope this helps.

Smile Mufflers with some sound!!!

IMHO Fabspeed X pipes with 200 cell cats mated to FD Motorsports mufflers are a great combo, and streetable.

I am in the minority here but I think the Stage II's have the best sound. IMO it still holds the true sound of the engine where the III's sound slightly different in pitch. I am planning on adding a sport cat to make the volume a bit more.... to each their own but thats my opinion.

I purchased some muffler deletes. They sound really nice and deep. If you live near OC, PM me and I can let you hear them in person.

Go to Youtube and type in modified 993 exhaust.

Thanks for all the feedback guys. The Maxflo is more on the subtle side, but if you want loud and proud, check out the Supercup. You'll love the aggressive sound and popping when coming off the gas pedal.

Mediocre cell phone pic of my dirty car, but i hope this help. The velvet black coating is amazing man and extremely durable too.The wide oval tips are a must. I've received a ton of complements on the look an sound and yes I know my 4x4 stance is whack but PSS10s are in route
Enjoy.

That my friend are just straight pipes. Fabspeed supercups will give you that sound or you could just have a muffler shop fabricate them.

It wont make your car fast enough to beat up the watercooled 6's but you will sound mean.
