FD Motorsports Fister Stage 3 exhaust

Search on them and you will find all the happy customers on this board

If you need more, than just run without a muffler I guess

Fister stage III's all the way for me!!! Just the right amount of rasp, burble, pop at the right volume. I had supercups which were louder, but they had a resonance and droning at 3,000rpm that went right through your brain. Plus Fister has the Rasp, Burble and Pop mascots - how could you not buy them?...

Stage lll's all the way...Every sound clip I have heard for Darin's fine work-while they sound very nice...they simply can't touch the aural gratification of them in person.

Where are you located? You might have someone near to you that could provide a live demo.

Under load they are great, at WOT they are menacing. My favorite though, is a simple restart when the car is warm. Just that instant vroom and burble is awesome. I've had them on my car for over a year now I believe, and almost every time it's idling in the driveway I walk around behind it to listen. Then I like to walk farther away, and am simply amazed at how that burble projects from the big oval tips.

Christ it's magic!

At one time, the B&B Super Cups (?) were the ticket. FD III's seem to be in favor these days. It's really all about your personal preference. When I want loud, I drive a different car.

There was a thread here recently that had a interesting, side-by-side, comparison of several modified 993 exaust syatems.

I didn't find the exact one that I was thinking of. Maybe someone else here will chime in?

In the mean time the "Fister Poll" thread has lots of comments:

If the link above doesn't work just search for "Fister Poll".

I've got Fabspeed MaxFlos and their airbox on the '95 and Fister Stage III's with Motorsound airbox on the '98. The '95, while authoritative, is tame by comparison: the '98 makes music. It's a heavy metal rock star when you get on the loud pedal or it can be mellow as a jazz quintet at steady throttle. Every time I fire it up, I smile!
