Brave man. Slownrusty seems strangely apt given the probably history and condition of this car.

Water getting into a motor will cause hydraulic lock and easily bend a valve, rod and all sorts of related mayhem. My favorite 911 I've had was my 91 965, wish I'd kept it, oh well. Really like my current car but this one is very tempting and in one of my favorite colors, just not the issues can be overcome without taking the motor apart for a look-see.
