For the love of Christmas, this is not the Skip Barber screwed me over thread.....

Check the 993 Hardback thread by Roy Disney, he probably posted his "Who has the coolest wheels" in there..
Hey, it's Friday. Happy Hour started last night.

Must have been multi-multi-multi-tasking. Or something like that.

930's are great cars and with easy bolt upgrades performance can be enhanced considerably. Compared to my 993 maintenance is definitely no worse. I don't get all the nay sayers here but to each his own. Then again ask people who actually own or owned them to hear their opinions....

If you own one, what's it like to drive driving it on the street? In traffic and such?

It's not my daily driver, that's the 993 so as such it doesn't see much traffic but the 4 speed keeps you from having to shift a lot at low speeds unlike with 5 speeds. It also drives comfortably at low speeds. However, the desire is to just to get on boost and fly. It may be the reconciliation between needing to drive slow and wanting to get on boost that gives the impression that driving in traffic can be a chore....You can though drive it calmly if you have the self control to do so...

The dude I got my supercharger from just traded his 993 for a red 930 man. A red one as well. You should talk to him. I like the 930 - great looking car - as are most 911's. I have a hankering for a 964 - the bug eye look is classic.

Too funny... I wrote this just before seeing your post...

Maybe there IS something about the older cars!
