I have a very nice 993, but for some reason I continue to look for a nice 3.2 Carrera. is there something wrong with me?

This is not a troll post, maybe I'm just curious if there are other 993 owners have gone back in time.

I've owned, in order an 85, 87, 95, 83, 97 and now I'm kind of thinking about a 3.2 Targa.

Maybe it's just my natural cycle?

No sir, nothing wrong with you (that isn't wrong with me ).

The SC-to-Carrerra 911s are timeless pieces of mechanical art. I love my SC for so many reasons that are different from the 993. If one ever has the means to compliment their 993 with a 911 from this era, I couldn't agree fast enough!

I guess my main (not only ) issue is that I don't have the means or garage space to own both at the same time!

BTW, I like how you bolded "so" and can relate to the many things to love about the older cars.

I went through a 3.2 phase, in that I shopped for one, but I never pulled the trigger. I think for many of us, our 993s have enough of an edge that makes us curious for even edgier cars. 964's are too close kin, so we leapfrog back to SC's and 3.2's. Totally healthy.
