Default 993 Exhaust Tips

Just had porsche factory widebody oval chrome exhaust tips installed on my 993 C4S but are not flush with the rear bumper and stick out way to far. The shop that did the work is telling me there is nothing they can do about this. No way this can be true given that these are factory parts. Any thoughts on this issue?

They look right to me. You don't want them too close due to heat issues.

I agree that it looks kind of odd but from what I've seen, that's the way they were designed. Mine look the same. Do a search, it's been discussed before.

The tips should protrude about 3/4" and the tips should be parallel to the profile of the bumper's exhaust tip opening. These appear to be correctly installed.

There is a group buy "list" for the WB ovals...are you on the list yet?

Thanks to all for the great responses/pics and help. Swear that I'd seen them more flush but perhaps those were aftermarket tips. Looks like the right tip sticks out about 1 inch while the left is 3/4 inch. Right tip is a little medially deviated too. Will try to get the shop to touch this up. Thanks again.
