Default New Wheels for my 96'

Hey guys
I am thinking about picking up a set of these to replace my Turbo Twists.

http://www.ccwheel.com/wheelprofiles...y.php?id=SP500

My question is - Can I fit 9" on the front and 11" on the back? Would I have to roll the fenders?

As you can see in the pics my wheels and tires are inset a little bit and I would like to bring them out to be more flush with the fenders.

Thanks for you help.

Michael

Are you sure you want those for your car? (down grade)
You can do better.

+993. There are only a few wheels I would put on a 993 over the OEM ones.

Interesting, Everything I have heard and read about CCW is that they are a quality wheel at a reasonable price.

I really like the Gemballa Competitions but they are $4800 new. Same with the BBS RS-GT and the HRE 565.

Any other suggestions?

What can I do about the inset problem???

There is nothing wrong with CCWs, and those would look amazing! IIRC, you should be able to fit 9s and 11s, but my word is not the gospel.

I say DO IT!

I agree with the earlier posts. I usually don't get involved in these kinds of threads but, your car looks amazing. I wouldn't touch it. IMHO you won't make it better--just different.

Good luck with your choice,
Hank

The inset problem will/can be fixed by the offset you get with the new wheels. A more agressive offset will bring the wheels out to the fender more. Many nice wheels are sold here on rennlist VERY often. Usually you can get a very good deal. For instance I got my speedlines refinished to better than new for much less than the new set costs you are quoting above.

With an 11'' wheel the offset will depend on if you have to roll the fenders or not. My guess is you will..

If you decide to get rid of your turbo twists please let me know. They would look perfect on my 993.

The problem with custom wheels is that when you hit a pot hole and go to get a replacement , you discover that model is not not made anymore.

The only thing I think look right at home on a 993 other than the stock wheels are GT3 style wheels (GT2 offsets for WB, since I don't like spacers.)

mazzetto - I have to agree with the other posts here. Your car looks amazing as it is. What size tires and offsets are you currently running? The back tires seem so wide on a NB 993. I would love to have that look on mine.
