Any 993 owners own a Panamera?
Now that the shock of the design of the rear half of the Panamera has subsided,
I am again considering one.
I have read the chatter in the Panamera forum, but the point of view of a 993 owner will be more meaninful for me.
I drove one in the back hills around Carmel California last year and the ride and handling were very impressive...I have not used one as "transportation" or
driven in the city or in traffic.
So, if there are any owners out there, what do you think?
Thanks

I own a 993 and sell the p cars in NJ, one of my clients has a 993 C4S and bought a Panamera 4s, he adores the car hates the stock tires and plans on beating the tires into the ground getting a good set and driving the Panamera like he stole it, he seems to be enjoying every minute of it. I love them but I sell them so you know how that goes

I bought a 2011 Panamera new last year. I sold it after 4 months. It was terrible. Poor performance. Terrible blind spots. Had QA problems. Rattles they couldn't track down. I would drive one extensively before you pull the trigger. Went back to a 1997 993 and like it 10x as much.

Burning Brakes
It's hard to compare the two, they are totally different cars built with totally different purposes in mind.
I got to ride on one on an AX track with a Porsche factory race driver and I was blown away by what he could do with the car.
I have afriend who owns one and he seems to really like it. He has some aftermarket exhaust on it and the car sounds really good inside/out and rides nice enough. The seats are pretty cool too, the perforated black leather is classy. He has absolutely no intention of driving the car hard, and probably couldn't care less about it's performance. To me the car was built specifically for that market: family man with money who doesn't want to admit they just bought a station wagon.
If you have money to burn it's a very nice car inside, rides nice etc. but it's going to be a horrible investment.

Panassmera......yikes I wouldn't even park it next to my 993
dynamics aside, it is so ugly inside and out you wonder wtf
Look at the Aston Martin Rapide - styling benchmark for the category
