Default TRG Carbon Fiber strut brace

I just received this from TRG. It seems to be of really high quality. Carbon fiber section is impeccable. Very light. Seriously a 5 minute install (with air tools.) For light track duty (only 2 attachment points) I'm not sure it can be beat for the price.

You used an air tool to re-torque the stut tower bolts! Be careful. You only need about 24-26 ft.lbs. on those bolts. You don't want to snap one of those off.

I snugged them down with the air tool and then tightened them by hand. I was worried about exactly that...
I'll try to get some pics this weekend. Just left the car at the airport until Friday night..

Falcon, with the strut brace, what have you noticed? Sharper turn it? Less dash squeaks?

Well, I only drove it from my house to the airport, so I really didn't notice anything. I'm not sure that in street driving I will. I got it because I'm going to start running R compound tires at Sebring. In pictures, it looks as if my front tires are going to positive camber in some of the high speed turns (running on the Dunlop Z1 Star Specs). I'm sure they aren't, but I just want to make sure everything is as stable as possible with the new tires generating a lot more force.

I noticed a big difference with my solid brace. Am curious if the "hinged" design does anything as well.

this one is adjustable, so one can pre-load the bar. It became pretty solid as I preloaded it. It doesn't hinge at all.
I only really have one decent turn between my house and the airport, so I really can't say what the difference in feel is. It will have to be a pretty dramatic difference to know for sure. As with all of these things, there is a tendency to feel what we want to feel. I WANT there to be a huge difference, but empirically, I know that it's unlikely to be felt in street driving.
The real report will be after Sept 18-19 with a full weekend on the Sebring track!
