After owning her for about 3.5 years, it was time to let her go so I can focus my time and cash restoring my long hood 911s. The previous owner missed her so much that he bought her back from me! Has anyone else ever sold their car back to its previous owner?
Nice to see it go back to a good home. More pics: http://www.flickr.com/photos/9336198...10411638/show/

I sold my Riviera Blue cab to a guy in Florida and bought it back 6 months later because he wanted to buy a new fishing boat. He had a GR 993 cab and a Cayman as well.

bought the first 993S I owned back last month after selling it four years ago...have since put over 2000 miles on it; the car actually got better with age...and many nice upgrades by the two previous owners

Is it limited to 993s? If not, I bought an '87 Carrera (Venetian Blue over Linen) from the original owner in 1994. While I was writing the check at his office, he was already having seller's remorse and made me promise to call him first if I ever sold it. I paid $28.5K then. In February of 2001, after I had agreed to buy my '98 C2S from it's original owner, I call Mr. '87 and told him I thought $25K was fair and we met the next day, when he wrote me a check. Last I heard, he still has it as a track car. All it required was normal maintenance over the 7 years and 25K miles...

Has to be tough to do, but at least the $$$$$$ is going back into another P-car.

Great story...it's like divorcing your wife while someone else keeps up with the maintenance...maybe even does a few upgrades for you. hmmmmmm...?
If I ever get another 993 midnight blue would be up there on my list. Also, love your garage! Good luck with your old 911's.
